Change Begins With Me Campaign

    Description
    Description

Educating ourselves on the issues addressed by SDGs is the first step towards finding a solution. “Change Begins With Me” Campaign is a collaborative effort between GBRI (an online education provider) and I-believe (a non-profit based out of the U.S) to make a difference in the way we think and act through:1. Education 2. Social Experiments3. Hosting Projects in support of the SDGs4. Inspire others to be the change! The campaign was kick started in August 2016. Currently, we have 3 course videos that talk about UN SDGs. These courses are available to watch on GBRIonline.org, YouTube and I-Believe Websites.

    Expected Impact

Phase 11. Education is primarily carried/ implemented through online methodologies. GBRI has proven educational methodologies that it has been using for last 7 years. The system will be utilized to create new educational content pertaining to the various issues of interest as identified by the team. GBRI will also utilize social media to engage with 25,000+ fans on facebook, more than 100,000 email subscribers through newsletters, etc.Phase 22. Conduct Social Experiments across India and United States with volunteersPhase 31. Raise funds to execute projects

    Capacity

    1. Currently the campaign is 100% driven by volunteers. GBRI will work with potential stakeholders to generate funds to reach out to larger audiences.2. List projects under crowdfunding websites3. Contact and work with the U.N to generate revenue through education courses for general public and utilize the funds towards implementing projects that have direct benefit to SDGs

    Governed

The initiative will be governed through:1. Weekly Progress Tracking2. Weekly Conference calls between stakeholders3. Preparing action plan4. Implementing action plan5. Measure progress
