    Description
    Description

The Simuka Africa Youth Association at Rescue plan for people and planet through a youth vocational training centre on life skills" aims to expand the covering numbers of beneficiaries of following actions. Simuka Africa Youth Association established a Youth Resource Centre at Norton Vocational Training Centre equipped with computers, sports equipment, and free internet. It offers free information and education materials on entrepreneurship, HIV/AIDS and Adolescent & Youth Sexual Reproductive Health. The resource centre also helps to empower girls at risk of child marriage through the provision of life skills training. These interventions help to equip girls and young women with powerful knowledge to change their futures. This action works alongside THE MATCH-A-MEAL CAMPAIGN that contributes to implement Sustainable and Safe Futures for Girls and Young Women Project in Zimbabwe. Furthermore, Simuka Africa Youth Association made a commitment to a rescue plan for people and planet in the entire loop by promoting The Simuka Africa Girls club (July, 2023) that aims to establish an atmosphere of female empowerment where education is a priority for our cause. For this reason, the Girls Club held sessions that included lessons on the issues of: 1) menstrual hygiene, 2) sexual reproductive health rights, 3) female education, 4) mental health and well-being, 5) peer pressure and 6) choosing better careers.
