    Implementation of the Project/Activity

The Supply chain will be signed up to initiatives/programs that the brand represents. A checklist of these initiatives, delivered through the sustainable-guide tool will be followed & continued advice from key organisations such as Repreve, The Vegan Society & UKFT to ensure suppliers compliance on social/ environmental areas, giving the supply chain responsibility on these deliverables. The supply chain used must be signed up to social & environmental initiatives that the brand represents, e.g., reach, BSCI and other similar initiatives. We provide some transparency throughout the supply chain to give the consumer a more informed choice on purchases. This will be shared through barcoding on product labelling tags that will link to social-media sites as well as YouTube/IGTV/Instagram using PR/ influencers. Due to Covid-19, currently there is an uncertainty about the robustness of the supply chain, particularly from our Vietnam suppliers. We have taken immediate steps to secure our current needs, estimating that disruption is temporary and by the time we need to increase our supply chain, the crisis will have peaked. However, the potential risk has prompted us to widen our supply chain ensuring that we are not vulnerable to such temporary disruptions in the future. Outsourced Design to freelance-designers that have worked with Kavita in the past, have good relationships, understanding of the business ethos & will report directly to Kavita. Packaging/ labelling will be using recycled/ biodegradable polybags. Logistics will be responsible for importing goods to UK, also providing a "Pick/ Pack" service from their UK depot. Route to Market. Own Shopify site and 3rd party wholesale strategy is delivering the product to market, in total 7 platforms including Retailers John Lewis & Wolf & Badger. The project should continue with increased revenue. The Charities will also have a great influence on marketing through their own platforms due to the links with the products. Outcomes are to reduce plastic, reduce landfill & wastage of fashion. The supply chain used must be signed up to social & environmental initiatives that the brand represents, e.g. reach, BSCI and other similar initiatives.
