Background
The Ambassadorial meeting took stock of the work of the Steering Committee over the past year and endorsed the work programme for 2023, which was considered in the expert-level meeting. The meeting discussed how the SIDS Partnership Framework could be strengthened under the next SIDS programme of action and served as the launch of the application process for the 2023 United Nations Small Island Developing States Partnerships Awards.
