Description
Aruba expects to be impacted by climate change, and to mitigate impacts, the UNFCC will be ratified toward the creation of an adaptation plan by the National Climate Resilience Council (NCRC). The goal of the NCRC will be to reduce the vulnerability and enhance the resilience of Aruba for the adverse impacts of climate change through adaptation and transformation and build the capacity of stakeholders in the fields related to climate change by 2030. The NCRC will be tasked with the formulation of a vision document, a climate action plan and an implementation plan based on the quadruple helix model.
