    Description
    Description

Sash is a sustainable luxury fashion & accessories brand that celebrates the elegance, panache, and quirkiness of womanhood. Our mission as a company is to ensure sustainability through fashion, and deliver timeless designs.

We aim to partner with several NGOs, and charities on a quarterly and/or yearly basis to ensure we give back as a brand, and will take part in events and collaborations that align with these initiatives, through the sales of our luxury collections. We promote transparency and justice for all, and our sustainability initiatives and partnerships allow us to give back with a focus on the following categories: Environment, Wildlife Conservation, Education, Hunger as well as Responsible Consumption and Sourcing.

Our main endeavor is to redefine "retail therapy" for a responsible consumer who approaches fashion from a holistic, sustainable standpoint in order to ensure the protection of our planet for the future generations. We do this by using our brand as a platform to both sell sustainable luxury products and raise awareness about conscious consumption. This will be accomplished by emphasizing consumer awareness of conscious and sustainable consumption, slow fashion, working with craftsmen, while empowering individuals to experience responsible luxury.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

We will proceed with the use of digital communications such as emails, Google Meet conference calls, WhatsApp groups for knowledge sharing within our organization and with the broader spectrum of industry participants such as suppliers, vendors, weavers, tailors, photographers, showrooms, shops, and e-commerce platforms, etc. This is particularly true given that our organization aims to be globally dispersed and the majority of our suppliers and service providers are located in different countries.

Regarding our intended audience and beneficiaries, which include clients, stylists, fashion aficionados, and members of the general public, we'll continue to have a strong presence on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook and provide content materials about our activities there.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

We intend to set up awareness webinars and capacity building programs around the topics of the SDGs, in order to advance together - in the United States Of America and India. Our internal teams gain knowledge of progressive, innovative methods of manufacturing and production through suppliers and manufacturers of plant based materials. Within our wider network, we foster the development of capacity building and technology transfer on the
sustainability issue in the luxury industry.

    Coordination mechanisms

We align with different charities and organizations as strategic partners, and together we come up with the strategies for best practices in achieving our goals.

We are a private company based in the United States with operation facilities in Delhi NCR, India. Sash aims to gradually establish operations in the United States, and span out business in the North Americas and South Pacific Asia. Sash ensures products are made using plant-based materials such as Apple Skin Leather, Cactus Leather, Pineapple Leather, and a variety of other plant-based leathers, backed with sustainable processes of manufacturing to ensure the highest level of sustainability.

    Evaluation

Consumer awareness of eco-friendly items has grown exponentially over the years, which has resulted in increased sales and demand for sustainable products. Sash wants to bridge this demand with the supply of sustainable luxury products that are earth friendly. Our initiative and organization has the strength to pursue digital fashion, in which we would digitally sell our products, leveraging sustainable and ethical fashion backed by innovation and technology.

Every Kg of apple residuals used to substitute traditional leather sources for making bags means 5,28 Kg of CO2 saved. Similarly, using other plant based leather, and sustainable materials ensures reduction in carbon emissions, as well as, eradicates animal cruelty.
