Description
Description

Our mission is to illuminate the interlinked injustices in fashion supply chains and transition to a fashion system that upholds total ethics, by prioritising the life of all animals; human and non-human, and the planet. Our organisation creates freely available new research, educational resources, and advocacy campaigns that focus on educating and inspiring policymakers, industry decision-makers and fashion consumers and the wider public.

Implementation of the Project/Activity

All research and educational resources are produced through desk research of publicly available and industry data and sources by CFJ board members and volunteers, as well as through the contribution of expert knowledge via partnerships with experts in their field (e.g., Center for Biological Diversity). Much is of the research is peer-reviewed by third-party organisations such as Faunalytics and partner academic institutions.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

A capacity building strategy will be part of our 2023 strategic plan. Please see the strategic plan for our first two years as an non-profit organisation here: https://www.collectivefashionjustice.org/strategic-plan

Coordination mechanisms

Collective Fashion Justice is a registered non-profit and entirely volunteer run, with the exception of special projects funded by partner organisations. Please see our 2021 Impact Report here: https://www.collectivefashionjustice.org/strategic-plan

Evaluation

Key performance indices (KPIs) are developed, measured, monitored and evaluated for each initiative undertaken by Collective Fashion Justice. KPIs vary depending on the initiative.
