    Intro

    Asset managers and pension funds are critical for sustainable development. Managing assets of future retirees and saver the pension funds and asset managers have a huge possibility to influence and invest yet untapped on a global arena.<br />
    This partnership is discovering the &quot;investors&#39;&quot; role on the SDGs. Working with learning, sharing experiences, communication and projects. This has resulted in new SDG-products, new SDG-investment mandates and new engagement and reporting in line with the SDGs.

    Objective of the practice

    Catalyzing new finance and action from pension funds, asset managers and investment companies in line with the SDGs.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    A joint commitment among members to take in the dimension of the SDGs when investing.
    Steering group of CEOs and Sida&#39;s Director General. Working network and working groups around certain SDGs: 5, 6, 8, 11, 16 with focus on anti-corruption and &quot;investment opportunities and obstacles when investing in line with the SDGs.&quot;

    New investment mandates in line with the SDGs.
    New SDG-products being launched.
    New action in terms of corporate governance in line with the SDGs.
    Working around reporting on the SDGs.
    A joint commitment from actors to take in the SDGs when investing.
    Enabling factors and constraints
    Sida as a convening partner.
    Making a connection to the UN system - Global Compact for ex and GRI.
    Sustainability and replicability
    All members are signatories of Global Compact. Most members are signatories of PRI.
    Conclusions

    Gathering around a &quot;joint commitment&quot; to take in the dimension of the SDGs when investing, when becoming a members.<br />
    Working in working groups centered around certain SDGs.
