Description
Description

Reverse Resources SaaS platform digitises the textile waste flows enabling the entire supply chain to track, trace and effectively convert textile waste into new resources. Reverse Resources connects fashion brands, manufacturers, waste handlers and recyclers in a unique digital environment where waste data is captured and traceability is embedded into the circular supply chains. Guided by the objectives of mapping and tracing textile waste flows to increase the valorisation of materials through textile-to-textile recycling, while reducing the amount of waste being incinerated and/or landfilled and increasing social compliance in the waste handling sector.

Implementation of the Project/Activity

Reverse Resources creates digital tools that support each stakeholder in the circular value chain, ensuring fair collaboration and verified data to inform decision-making. RR tools enable manufacturers to create visibility of their textile waste and connect them to the best recycling solutions. At the same time, RR digital platform helps recyclers to access fully traceable and compliant textile waste that fits their technical specifications. RR offers fashion brands digital tools enabling them to capture data on textile waste flows and provide third-party verification on closed-loop recycling. In parallel, Reverse Resources collaborates with industry associations, recyclers, brands, and waste handlers to increase social and environmental compliance in the waste-handling sector, through multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Through steering and participating in industry working groups, taking part in pilots and industry conferences to share knowledge and aggregated data about the textile-to-textile recycling industry.
