Improving disability inclusive SDG implementation across Northern Nigeria via SDG blind ambassadors’ engagement with legislators
Description
It aims to cover at 2-3 school for the blind in 16 states plus the federal capital territory in Northern Nigeria by training blind and visually impaired students to be SDG ambassadors in their state of abode. Afterwards they are supported to engage on at least a monthly basis with legislators , government ,policy makers, media and the general public on an inclusive SDG implementation in the state of their residence. Highlighting progress made and areas that needs attention

Lead & Deputy Lead are in charge of the overall coordination of the entire project and are primarily responsible for negotiating signing MOUs with blind schools across northern Nigeria to help facilitate training of the SDG ambassadors. <br />

The State Project Advisor/Coordinator with support from either the Project or Deputy Lead is responsible for approving,facilitating and supporting all official public engagement by the SDG ambassadors <br />

The Project Research Fellow/Data Manager with support from the project lead or deputy Lead is responsible for the project data management, Monitoring & Evaluation as well as research and development <br />

The Project photojournalist will be in charge of all media with editorial input from the project Lead or Deputy Lead.
