Training workshop for women and youth MSME entrepreneurs in The Gambia, 12-17 December 2021

This workshop is jointly organized by the Division for Sustainable Development Goals, Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DSDG/DESA) in partnership with UNCTAD Empretec programme, Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment (MOTIE), The Gambia and the Gambia Import and Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA). It aims to strengthen capacities of women and youth MSME entrepreneurs to develop positive attitudes, competency and entrepreneurial skills contributing to MSME resilience during uncertainties and economic shocks brought forth by external factors such as the Covid-19 pandemic. Designed in a demand-driven approach, the workshop will provide need-based knowledge upholding MSME competitiveness and their contributions to sustainable development in The Gambia. The workshop will be participated by women and youth MSME entrepreneurs from both the capital area and the west coast region.
