National Capacity Building Workshop: Strengthening Digitization and Entrepreneurial Skills among MSMEs for Accelerating Progress towards SDGs in Zimbabwe

The national capacity building workshop received 65 participants from four provinces of Zimbabwe. Eighty per cent of participants are women and youth MSME entrepreneurs. Through intensive module, the five-day workshop has strengthened capacities of participants in areas critical to enhance MSME resilience for accelerating progress towards SDGs in Zimbabwe. The imparted skill sets include strategic planning, opportunity seeking, business formalization as well as e-commerce and online marketing skills. Most of participants find the workshop quite relevant to their work and they are very satisfied with results of the workshop. After the workshop, participants expressed their being empowered to share knowledge learnt with peer MSME entrepreneurs and among their respective communities.
