Description

Our objective is to build a strategic partnerships alliance and collaborations essential to solving complex global challenges and making maximum impact. When believe that when we unite with a shared mutual vision and commitment towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals then we can effectively impact and transform the lives of children, youths and families as well as improve, build and transform communities.

Expected Impact

Our implementation Methodology are as follows: 
 
1. Management: Our Management structure is designed to allow participatory decision making process. 
 
2. Planning: Our activities are designed into Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly action plans which further culminates into our annual plan. 
 
3. Projects/Programs: Our programs design incorporates every aspect of Project management Development e.g. Project design incorporating monitoring, evaluation and reporting system. Use of efficient and diversified staff for program activity implementation. Our programs are centered on ending extreme poverty and hunger, providing quality education for children, decent work for youths and women and advocating for good governance and better social welfare policies. 
 
4. Reporting: WIDF has the ability to produce appropriate reports. We prepare reports on progress of activities. Reporting formats are flexible and usually aligns with the report formats provided by Donors and Partners. We publish and disseminate annual reports on our information operations and activities. 
 
5. Financial Budget: We operate an annual and multi-year budget operating system as well as prepares financial reports/statements in appropriate manner. Our financial and inventory control system includes: Internal Audit system and External Audit conducting by external Auditors. 
 
6. Monitoring and Evaluation: We have a structured monitoring and evaluation system for continuous information collection, analysis and feedback. We conduct baseline and impact assessment through our M&E system and other tools at our disposal.

Capacity

We strengthen the technical and organizational skills of our team through information sharing, training, study visits, workshops and demonstration activities, among others. As a body, we have committed ourselves to the formulation of a capacity development strategy and action plan that ensures the needs, gaps and obstacles related to capacity building and technological expertise is filled.

Governed

This initiative is governed by an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee which consist of Five (5) people who are in charge of overseeing and directing the work of the organization. Members of the National Executive Committee are responsible for helping the organization achieve its strategic plan. They are to also publicize the activities of the organization, its programs and goals. They are also to participate in fundraising activities to secure adequate funding for the operation of the organization. 
 
The following clearly describes the role of the Executive Committee. 
 
1. The Executive committee is the supreme authority of the Organization exercising the supreme power of the organization. Yearly Planning, budget, audit, progress of work, any reviewing, membership inclusion and termination need to be confirmed in the general committee meeting. 
 
2. Furthermore, any amendment and inclusion in any constitutional clause need to be approved/confirmed by Executive Committee 
 
3. The Executive Committee is responsible for the effective management of the Organization and the program and for proper utilization of funds provided by the different sources. 
 
4. The Executive Committee (EC) always monitors the activities of Accounts Section for ensuring the good accounting. Before implementation of any project or plan it needs to be approved by EC. 
 
5. The Executive Committee is also accountable to its donors and members of the network in every area of the organizations work
