Description
We are slow fashion brand. Each our garments is manufactured on demand or custom-made, in high quality and timeless designs. We are making high quality apparel to be used long-term through good care, repair and perhaps redesign. When the product is no longer desired, to prolong its active life, we ask our clients to hand any products to a secondhand shop, charity or to friends. When the garment is completely worn out, it should be returned to a collection point for recycling of the textile material, which can hence be reused in the manufacturing of new clothes or other textile products. We do not use materials such as nylon or acrylic as they are made from fossil fuels and do not biodegrade. Sustainable fashion is no longer a trend, but a fundamental prerequisite to keep our planet safe and support a healthy environment.
Use of organic materials. However, the fabrics used are not only be organically grown, but also 100% made from the same material. This makes a product not only biodegradable, but also recyclable. Put out only two collections a year. Promote conscious consumerism. Use plastic-free or recycled packaging. Our production is not only respectful of the environment but also of people. Therefore, the working conditions that sustainable fashion brands rely on should always be fair and respectful – this includes reasonable working hours, fair wages, bans child labor. We are focused on achieving full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including for young people and those with disabilities. Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision making in our company. Regarding the latest events one of our main goals is to protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers, including migrant workers, in particular female migrants. Empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all. Taking part in promoting local culture and products. Ensure that our clients have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature. Respect each brand’s policy space and leadership to establish and implement policies for sustainable development.
Self-evaluation on annual basis. The company is governed by two founders: Diana Svietlycha and Nita Lipchanskaya.
As we promote among our clients importance of prolonging garments active life, so when the garment is completely worn out, our clients return it to us for recycling of the textile material, which can hence be reused in the manufacturing of new clothes or other textile products. We also explain to our clients basics of conscious consumption and how being a conscious buyer can contribute to helping our planet. That helps to build a community that understands the importance of conscious consumption. Our clients only buy garments they really value and truly need, with this being the case, two collections in a year is enough.
