    Description
    Power for All (www.powerforall.org) is a coalition of 200 public and private organizations (companies, CSOs, financial institutions, research bodies, trade associtions, etc) campaigning to deliver universal electricity access before 2030 through accelerated deployment of distributed renewable energy solutions. Power for All is a 2018 Ashden Award finalist in the Energy Access Fronter category. It was also recognized at the 2018 World Future Energy Summit as a best-practice for scaling solar markets.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    Power for All is carried out in three ways: 1. evidence and communications, 2. advocacy and 3. national-level market activation.

    Capacity

    A main focus of Power for All is building local capacity -- in policy and regulation, finance, skills and training -- to help accelerate deployment of distributed renewable energy technology.

    Governed

    Power for All is registered as 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States, and is comprised of more than 200 partners, and governed by a board of directors. Power for All also has several country-level offices in Africa and Asia.
