    Description

Since 2011, Positive Luxury has been accelerating brands to a new climate economy. Our products and services help companies manage their social & environmental impact with transparency and ease. We assess, benchmark, and certify companies with the Butterfly Mark, the leading independent systemised certification that foster consumer confidence that a business is having a positive impact in nature and society.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

Our certification has been created around an ESG+ (Environmental, Social, Governance, and Innovation) framework in consultation with the Positive Luxury’s sustainability council, including British Standards Institution (BSI), Capitals Coalition, UNEP-WCMC, and a wide range of stakeholders from industry and academia including MIT and Cambridge Sustainability Institute.

    Evaluation

The British Standard Institution (BSI) provides the expertise to ensure that the Butterfly Mark assessment is rigorous, independent, and relates to the latest best practice and standards. We ensure the continuity of high standards by updating our assessment with additional modules every 6 months, helping the brands in our community to continuously de-risk and future-proof their business.
