    Minga lodge and Reserve es el socio estratégico de las Fundaciones Free The Children y Kamana Pacha para la implementación de los programas de desarrollo comunitario y de conservación en la parroquia de Chontapunta. Los Programas son: i) Rescate y manejo de abejas nativas sin aguijón; ii) Re-forestación con Bosques Alimenticios; iii) Diversificación de la Chakra amazónica iv) Viveros agro-forestales de plantas nativas amazónicas. Adicionalmente, el lodge se encuentra ubicado en 300 hectáreas de bosque protegido que alberga una biodiversidad única, la misma que se maneja técnicamente. En asociación con la Fundación Free The Children posee una finca agro-ecológica donde se desarrollan las capacitaciones en temas agrícolas a los agricultores de la zona para desarrollar sus habilidades y mejorar la productividad de los cultivos de manera armónica con el medio ambiente.

    Estas nuevas iniciativas se alinean a las estrategias de desarrollo de los gobiernos locales y seccionales, sumando esfuerzos y recursos para mejorar las condiciones de vida de las personas en las comunidades de la parroquia Chontapunta, educar y sensibilizar a la población para en conjunto preservar el ecosistema en el cual nos encontramos. Al nosotros estar ubicados en la zona de influencia y nuestros socios tener una presencia positiva en la zona desde hace 10 años, hemos cultivado la confianza con las comunidades de la parroquia lo que nos permitirá una mejor implementación de las iniciativas.
