    Description

    The Makongo initiative in Uganda is working to plant 300 trees this year in the Manafwa District for environmental protection and poverty eradication. This goal will be attained by working with the local community as well as the Greening Uganda Campaign. This initiative will also work on raising awareness through dialogue and interaction with the community, in partnership with the Laudato si movement, through the church and community home visits. 

    Expected Impact

    Poverty in the community will be done away with. Malnutrition will be wiped out of our communities. Land restoration and afforestation in the community to mitigate climate change.
