    Description
    We committed to hunt for ghost nets or any industrial and/or fishing related industry trash around Borneo especially the countries facing South China Sea such as, Sarawak and Sabah of Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.We have gathered professional scuba divers around the region or the world to volunteered together in addressing and met Target 14.1 of SDG 14 - Life Below Water. Borneo has the biggest marine protected area in Malaysia such as Luconia Shoals National Park, Miri-Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Area and Tun Mustapha Marine Park Area. Pelong-Pelongan Islands for Brunei Darussalam. We have conducted 12 Operations (Ops) to hunt, removed and destroy ghost nets with more that 800 kg of discarded fishing nets and other marine trash since 2017. We vowed to conduct more Ops at least twice a year in partnership with the government, NGO and private entities. We also conducted Community, Education and Public Awareness for the public so that the public aware of such problem in their marine ecosystem.
