GOPAC OCeania and GOPAC have organised the Eighth Forum of Parliamentarians Special Event at the Conference of State Parties to the UNCACAbu Dhabi, UAE on Wednesday 18 December 2019, 9am-11am in Conference Room 3
Participation at CoSP has been seen as a key driver of parliamentarians engagement in good-practice anti-corruption implementation. This year's special event theme is "Parliament’s Role in Enhancing Holistic Governance".
Parliamentary oversight has been a key component of good practice UNCAC implementation. As open government develops and borders shrink, there are more players and partnerships actively contributing to preventing, tackling and holding to account more sophisticated corruption. This panel session explores innovative and holistic roles Parliaments have to take on.
Challenges faced in implementation
