Achievement at a glance
In the summer of 2017, within the Legambientes campaign Goletta Verde, University of Siena have carried out the collection of macroplastic samples all around Italian coasts for analyse them and evaluate the concentrations of environmental contaminants. Several interviews on this commitment has been released. In summer 2017, also the Vele spiegate project has been accomplish with his clean up events, monitoring and awareness campaign, and we're preparing the 2018 edition. Most recently University of Siena joined Legambientes appeal, done with other NGOs, asking for banning microbeads in cosmetics in Italy, now the ban is law in Italy.
