Background
The event aimed to celebrate UN Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Day (27 June, 10am, ECOSOC Chamber, UNHQ). It was organized by DESA/DSDG, together with the Permanent Mission of Argentina to the UN, the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the International Council on Small Business (ICSB). The theme of the event was "Unlocking the Potential of MSMEs to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals". Policymakers from Government, UN agencies, international organizations, MSME entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, researchers and academics attended the event.
