The 2026 SDG Global Business Forum is co-convened by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE). For the 2026 Forum, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is also joining as co-organizer.
Held as a high-level special event alongside the 2026 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), the Forum will bring together leaders from business, government, civil society and other sectors to discuss how to foster a more enabling environment for private sector contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals. This year’s discussions will place particular focus on SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and on implementation of Action 55(c) of the Pact for the Future.
