My delegation would like to join the other delegations to extend our condolences to the passing away of the PR of Djibouti.
I have already stated our views on the implementation section of the declaration and therefore I would like to focus my comment today on the chapter of Means of implementation and Global Partnership.
In para 53, we should welcome and fully endorse the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. Thereafter, para 19 of the FFD outcome document, namely the sentence in the bracket in the current draft, should follow in order to clarify the linkage between the new Agenda and the FFD outcome. On the proposal to annex the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, our preference is not to have it attached as an annex to this document. There are slight differences of the language and expressions on the same subject between the MOI targets in the SDGs and the FFD outcome, and if we put the two documents in this entire document, this may cause some confusions. Also, there is a general agreement to keep it short.
In para 54, we should refer to the launching of the TFM, and all of the bullet points of para 123 of the FFD outcome should be copied after the first sentence.
We do not support the idea to copy MOI targets in this chapter, because it is the repetition of these targets. We should keep the whole goal set in chapter 2 only. Ordinary people will not understand why these targets appear twice in the document. Rather, we should have an explanatory paragraph which says "There are MOI specific targets with alphabets in each goal and the targets in Goal 17, which are an integral part of the SDGS and targets".
