Egypt aligns its statement with the statement of the G77 and china, and the Arab Group,
We would like to commend you for the efforts and commitment to advancing this process, we assure you of our continued engagement with you to support the conclusion of a successful post 2015 agenda
We consider the final draft circulated on the 8th of July as a good basis to reach a final agreed document by the end of this month, to be adopted by our head of states and government in September. We have noted that this document reflects all the views expressed during the June session.

We note with satisfaction the references to CBDR, the right to development, the respect of the National policy space, and the condemnation of the occupation.
In this regard we want to reiterate the importance of keeping the reference to the principle of CBDR as we see it is relevant to the context of the agenda.
Concerning the right to development, we insist on keeping the reference to this right in both para 10 and 31.
In para 6, We don’t support the addition of the “universal peace in larger freedom”, as we believe this needs further clarifications,
With regard to Para 41, in order to avoid any conflict with national legislations, we propose to add “ according to national laws and regulation” at the end of the para.

In conclusion let me thank you again for your efforts and look forward to working with you on it.
