    One of the main issues practically every State in the World is facing today is sustaining proper work of their justice system. As this is one of the three powers given to the State it is required by each society that it will work sufficiently and provide equal access to justice for everybody. Unfortunately quite often these days access is not that simple. Not only because of the current COVID-19 restrictions, but also because of very long time that people need to wait before court starts handling their case. Additionally long court proceedings cost a lot of money and that money factor might prevent people from bringing their cases to the court. The Ministry of Justice of Republic of Poland decided to address these issues in the form of establishing a program which popularizes one of the Alternative Dispute Resolution methods – mediation. These peaceful method of conflict resolution allows both parties to be heard on equal basis. It is rather cheap so the possibility of enormous costs does not prevent anybody from trying it out. What for some might be even more important it takes much less time than typical court proceedings.Through increasing the competences of mediators, creation of the National Register of Mediators (KRM) and information activities, the Ministry would like to promote mediation and increase the quality of settlements. Thanks to the online access to the KRM citizens would have equal access to the same professional help. People from rural areas would be no more disadvantaged. It would allow for more effective dispute resolution. As it was mentioned one of the objectives of the project is to increase competences of mediators but also raise level of knowledge about mediation in the society. It will supposingly encourage judges in referring more cases to mediation. During the project there would be organized quality seminars for mediators which would raise their comptences and skills in conducting mediations.
    Expected Impact

    In the time of Covid-19 it is necessary to look for solutions that would allow people to stay safe. In order to sustain growth and stay safe it might be a good idea to use e-mediation. People might resolve their issue at home without the need to wait till the court room will be open again. Mediation additionally promotes more inclusive way of the growth, because settlement is reached when both parties agree. One will not be taken advantage of by much bigger corporation. This way mediation ensures that the companies that have superior position will not be able to use it. Real market competition is what allows more inclusive and fair competition, where employees rights are guaranteed. This is why good justice system might influence economic market. Popularizing mediation, educating and creating new, technological advanced register is the way to ensure faster realization of goals set out by UN. This is why this project is definitely worth supporting.
