Description
By joining the SDG16 Action Committee mayors and partners will be leading global momentum towards reducing global violence – one of the most critical crises of our time and shaping a city-to-city collaboration framework to develop and drive global best practice for SDG16.1 and SDG16+.
The 12-month Peace in Our Cities Action Committee will spend the year discussing best practices in reducing and preventing violence at the municipal / city level. The Action Committee will produce a report at the end of year one outlining global momentum towards reducing global violence – one of the most critical crises of our time and the rules and mechanisms for a successful a city-to-city collaboration framework to drive global achievement of SDG16.1 and SDG16+.
