    In the light of the relevant economic, social and environmental factors in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kadiwaku Family Foundation will work towards helping to address accessibility in all spheres of life and will empower persons with disabilities through the application of the entrepreneurial approach in order to enhance their quality of life and living standards. We work alongside organizations for persons with disabilities, companies and other partners involved in championing and promoting the rights of persons with disabilities.     Expected Impact

    The Inclusive entrepreneurship for people with disabilities in DR Congo aims to improve the entrepreneurial capabilities of young Congolese with disabilities through training, networking and business support. As of today, 650 disabled young have been trained, connected and received technical and financial support to run their own business. And Kadiwaku Family Foundation organized the first-ever conference for disabled entrepreneurs in Kinshasa in the occasion of the international day for people with disabilities.

    We currently run seven training centers across DR Congo and reached 650 persons with disabilities directly. With this program, Kadiwaku Family Foundation wants to expand its operations in twelve provinces throughout DR Congo and enable over 25000 persons with disabilities to participate in the market either as an employee or a small business owner by providing them with information, tools, training, business support and networking opportunities.
