Description
(1) Explore Our Collaborations (https://globalhealthprogress.org/explore-our-collaborations/) which allows you to explore programs by disease area, geography, target population and more; and,
(2) SDGs in Focus (https://globalhealthprogress.org/sdgs-in-focus/) which aggregates data points to demonstrate program's contribution to SDG 3, 5, 10 and 17.
IFPMA has worked closely with external stakeholders, including representatives from academia, NGOs, foundations and media, to develop a platform which will bring value to these audiences. Based on this, Global Health Progress aims to highlight the innovative biopharmaceutical industry and partners expertise, experience and areas of focus, along with opportunities for further collaboration.
The platforms 3 main objectives are:
(1) Highlighting programs and their contribution to the SDGs to drive cross-sector collaboration;
(2) Being a catalyst for advancing innovative programs and collaborations; and,
(3) Acting as a knowledge hub to partners by sharing blueprints, best practices and tools to support program implementation.
By collating global health programs from the innovative biopharmaceutical industry and partners, we are able to:
- Track programs contributions to the SDGs;
- Help to streamline program efforts by outlining existing efforts to avoid duplication and fragmentation of programs;
- Enhance opportunities for further collaboration by identifying gaps in activities, based on geography, program strategy and disease areas; and,
- Share knowledge and best practices to support continual learning, identifying complementary strengths and expertise to develop global health programs and enhance action towards the SDGs.
