Description
Work will be carried out in the following areas:
-Recovering and maintenance at optimal population biomass levels of most fisheries resources while maintaining ecosystem health and productivity under climate change scenarios;
-Improving the environmental quality of the marine and coastal ecosystems via integrated management considering the various sources of pollutants;
-Restoring and maintaining the habitat and biodiversity of marine and coastal systems at sustainable levels
-Diversifying and adding value to Humboldt Current System fisheries and other sectoral uses by creating productive opportunities inside and outside the fisheries sector with people socially organized and integrated; and,
-Contributing to the populations food security and food safety.
