COMMUNITIES BUILDING CONSENSUS AROUND SDG - 17 CONSENSUS FOR VENEZUELA
Description
There is a special focus on consensus building in communities around each one of the 17 SDGs, using the new austrian-german “Systemisches KONSENSIEREN”. Therefore ways and methods will be look for and tried out, in order to detect and determine the most efficient and effective manners of collaboration, in harmony with the NGOs own goals and work. Second focus lies on financial sustainability of this activity; here different sources will be contacted in order to find out, how far we can receive financement and even redirect funds into certain NGOs of special importance and interest. Third focus lies on creation of processes and its documentation in order to offer guidance and permanency.
Right from beginning, Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer will be promoted, facilitated and enforced through strategic alliances with NGOs, economic associations and the academy.
This is a Bottom-up activity. There is a team of three in general coordination, responsible for all planning, executing and administration, with assisting staff, if necessary. For each of the development goals, there will be one NGO or business association taking the lead of the “round tables of consensus” with two co-leading organizations. Responsibility includes to unite groups of participants on local, regional and national level, if applies. Organise regular meetings throughout the year and maintain virtual section of web-site and other social media updated. Within of frame of yearly event FORUM SUSTAINABLE VENEZUELA - AGENDA ODS 2030 - 17 CONSENSUS, each of SDG-Communities will be given opportunity to present to general public, present cases from other countries, from all over the world and coordinate the yearly SDG-Community workshop. There indicators and achievement of activities will be presented, discussed and new consensus agreed for the next period. Throughout the year contact with national state SDG activities is fostered as well as with international development agencies.
