Progress report for
GODUCATE
Achievement at a glance
Through our Community Development Programs, we have engaged 244 volunteers and have worked with over 2,050 local partners in helping 122,319 individuals from 2,000 barangays (villages) of the Philippines.Challenges faced in implementation
Through empowering and engaging volunteers in the community, Goducate efficiently holds true to its commitment of Helping Asians Help Themselves. As a non-governmental organization, the major challenge that it is facing is the cooperation of identified potential partners and volunteers in the village. To overcome this challenge, Goducate educates identified persons of the help that it is trying to offer together with the organization’s mission & vision and target goals. Moreover, Goducate partners with the local government and various agencies in helping a community. Graduate ensures that it has visited the office of the Local Government before it enters a new municipality and village.Next Steps
Goducate’ goal is the holistic and sustainable development of 42,000 villages in the Philippines and beyond. Its mission is to "Go and Educate" people who otherwise have no access to education so that they can escape the lives of hopelessness and uselessness. To achieve such goal, Goducate will form regional teams in the 12 regions of the Philippines who will be trainers in the provincial and municipal/city levels using various Goducate Development Programs. Moreover, Goducate will strengthen its partnership with the local government and invite more volunteers for more community development programs to more new municipalities and villages next year.
