1. The need to clarify the definition of crimes related to fisheries, a need to establish a workable potential instrument or mechanism regarding crimes related to fisheries persists.2. Several elements of the establishing of potential instrument(s) such as regional cooperation agreement against crimes related to fisheries in particular, nature of such instrument, scope, as well as substantive elements such as prevention, international cooperation, and national measures need to be discussed further.
3. Need to be more focus on exploring best practices in the development of several international legal instruments rather than providing a specific definition on the main issues to be regulated.
