Achievement at a glance
RMIT recognises the important role the education sector can play not only in supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda, but also in promoting and contributing to the achievement of all 17 Goals.Our latest sustainability report employed the SDGs as a framework to demonstrate RMIT’s global sustainability impact. For more information on the SDGs and the University’s contribution (see sections 4 and 6 of the report). Detailed contributions to relevant SDGs and specific SDG targets are also included in the report.
Main achievements of the RMIT-wide SDGs project are also provided on the report (see page 21 for more details).
Challenges faced in implementation
Increasing awareness of our key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and implementing KPIs to monitor our sustainability performance and respective contributions to SDGs are still the main challenges.Next Steps
