In March 2016, MY World Mexico an initiative supported by the United Nations SDG Action Campaign committed to reach: \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n- 50,000 MY World 2030 surveys which collect data on SDG 14.\\\\r\\\\n- 87 Educational Actions (conferences, workshops and forums) on SDG 14.\\\\r\\\\n- 25 Actions on Coast Cleaning in Mexico.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nThe activities would focused on SDG 14 goals and indicators: 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.5, 14. a and 14.c. and would be developed by MY World Mexico\\\\\\\'s civil society partners, as well as volunteers and private sector partners. After months of mobilizations across the country, our initiative has been able to achieve: \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n- 58,000 offline and online MY World 2030 surveys focused on disaggregating SDG 14 data. \\\\r\\\\n- States benefited: Veracruz, Yucatn, Quintana Roo and Baja California.\\\\r\\\\n- Number of volunteers involved: 910. \\\\r\\\\n- Coasts cleaned: 67. \\\\r\\\\n- Educational/awareness activities: 218.\\\\r\\\\n- Water samples and monitoring in Baja California: 35. \\\\r\\\\n- Tons of waste recycled: 23.5.\\\\r\\\\n- Visits/tours to natural areas in Veracruz: 4. \\\\r\\\\n- Public events: 32. \\\\r\\\\n- Presentation of results at the 2017 United Nations Ocean Conference in NYC in partnership with Peace Boat US. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nWe were able to surpass the objectives planned for 2017. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nAll of the information can be found at: \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nWebsite: http://myworldmexico.org/\\\\r\\\\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MYWorldMexico/\\\\r\\\\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/MYWorldMexico\\\\r\\\\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/myworldmexico/
