Background
ECLAC organizes regular sessions of a community of practice on VNRs. The community of practice is an informal space for exchange among peers and sharing of good practices with regards to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in general and the preparation of VNRs in particular, and aims to provide a space to regularly communicate with peers.
On 14 September, in partnership with DESA, ECLAC organized a session, in partnership with DESA, focused localization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the role of Voluntary Local Reviews (VLRs). In addition to members of the community of practice, representing national governments, representatives of local authorities actively participated in the session.
