    Current projects already underway.- A promise to take action now or in the future.The College of Business Administration (CBA) provides sustainability leadership locally and regionally. CBA will continue its current actions and commits to building on that effort. Existing actions which will continue include:o A sustainability concentration for MBA students.o Certificates in sustainability for building professionals offered in training partnerships with professional associations.o CBA Green Team which uses a multi-stakeholder continuous improvement process to reduce CBA-associated environmental impact.o Participation in multiple university and community groups focused on efforts to increase sustainability outcomes locally and globally.o Outreach efforts which raise sustainability awareness and engagement to all stakeholders.o Programs and projects funded by federal agencies (SBA, NIST, EPA) to aid small businesses become more sustainable.o Sustainability research published in peer reviewed journals.New actions planned include:o Improved measurement of all CBA aspects. Building measurement dashboard is under development.o Review existing content of the UNO Center of Economic Education Library to create a sustainability collection.o Develop the LEED certified building as a laboratory for business and non-business students.- A commitment to transparency through annual reporting on progress.As a reporting member of the PRME initiative, CBA will continue to file a Sharing Information on Progress report and share the report with stakeholders. Sustainability is one of five strategic initiatives for campus and has been a priority of the Dean; as such, performance will be reviewed and reported in multiple publications.- A description of time-bound targets/goals that can be measured for success.A quantitative goal-setting effort is in process. Expected changes will occur in the near and long-term in areas which include:o Implement a purchasing policy for the college which favors recycled material content; reduce paper purchase, increase the use of recycled content paper.o Reduce energy use at the facility.o Reduce the total volume of waste and increase the percentage volume of waste which becomes recycled.o Increase the number of sustainability exposure events for the CBA stakeholders.- A general description of key resources and/or partners dedicated to achieve these targets.The sustainability accomplishments of CBA could not be accomplished without the support of internal groups such as the CBA Green Team and the CBA student group, G-BASIS, the broader campus support of UNO Facilities, and collaboration with external groups such as the Green Omaha Coalition and the Flatwater Chapter of the US Green Building Council and their members.
