    Description
Within the initiative 'COP21-UGA: 4 Grands Séminaires sur les traces du GIEC', a group of a dozen researchers with different thematic and disciplinary backgrounds was established for coordinating scientific initiatives and raising public and / or policymakers engagement in the Region of the Grenoble-Alpes.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

The first initiative put in place by the COP21-UGA group was the organization of four major thematic days following the development of the IPCC: IPCC-WG1, IPCC-WG2, IPCC-WG3.Each of these four days consists of an academic conference on campus and of a public lecture. The academic conference is provided by an internationally famed scientist on the theme in the agenda for that particular day. Among these four major conferences, two of them were held respectively on 10th February and 28th April 2015, whereas the remaining two will be taking place on 6th October and 9 (or 10) November 2015.
