    Description
    Description
In the framework of the 20th International Climate Conference, held in Lima in December 2014, two simulations for Climate Negotiations took place at the Catholic University of Lille in order to raise awareness on the impact and the risks connected to climate change among young people. The University has been committed to the organization of a cycle of six conferences focusing on the scarcity for natural resources due to climate change and the current production and consumption patterns. The University has contributed to the energy , ecological, economic and social transition of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Region through the guidance of the "Live TREE " scheme. This scheme is part of the regional project " Carbon Free University ".
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

The first event was organized by EDHEC students (Eco think Association) and the Faculty of Management, Economics and Science and held during two different evenings, each of them including a conference on energy and climate issues and a simulation of a UN conference. The second initiative brought together over 200 participants for two days acting as negotiators responsible for reaching an acceptable agreement on climate change.
