SDGIsrael
Description
We work with the SDG Indicators as a framework to both express the importance of impact measurement and what are the goals we should be aligning with. We work with organizations to describe what the work that is needed is, and how to measure it. This is done with in depth workshops and mapping out who key players in the Israeli market are, that are aligned with the SDGs.\\r\\nWe reach out to businesses and organizations to help implement and strategize in accordance with the SDGs. We help align company values with the global goals. We believe that with our approach we can affect real change and movement in our country.\\r\\nOur community is very young and new. We are currently focusing on mapping out organization and people in Israel and measuring what SDGs they focus on. We are growing our membership daily and within just 2 months we have grown to hundreds of members.\\r\\nWe are always looking for partners in Israel and around the world. As we focus on goal #17, partnership for the goals, we believe that any connection and affiliation can go a long way.
We work mainly with small companies and startups that are already aligned with the SDGs and have to potential to grow their influence. Many startups are aimed at developing markets and don't have the knowledge or access to knowledge about the SDGs, Impact financing and development funds. We work hard to connect different stakeholders with resources that can help them grow.
SDGIsrael measures its, and the members of the community's progress in accordance with the SDGs and the indicators. We disseminate information, work with stakeholders, and create seminars and workshops to implement SDG measurement.\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\nThe organization is run by Or Katzman and Keren Or Rosner and has volunteers and part time workers working on partnerships, volunteer work, resource and capacity building and more.
