SDG 1 4 and 5

Description
Intro

We provide educational support to the needy children. Support teen mothers through skills development programs Teen Pregnancy Prevention program through sexual health education and Mobile App that will work offline.

Objective of the practice

Educating every child despite their family background. Creating a sustainable future that we all hope for, by empowering our young future leaders
Since the inception, 12 years ago I came across many challenges and some include teens who dropped out at school due to teen pregnancy , some due to poverty where no one is the to look after them financial.
Some dropped out as they are child headed families. The elder sister or brother dropped out from school to provide social support to the siblings.
To overcome some challenges, I have implemented the program to provide teaching about sexual health education, HIV/AIDS and managed to assist morethan 250 girls stay at school.
I also overcome the teen mothers dropped out by providing skills development projects that includes sewing. we keep them busy and they sew to generate income

Partners
The beneficiaries are morethan 5000 young ones.we have partnerships with different organizations that includes local business people and influential leaders. our sponsors includes National Lotteries Commissioner , National Heritage Council. donors also we have Shoprite Mobile Soup Kitchen.
Methods of engagement is also on the school drive tours where we motivate the learners. we invite different stakeholders and they support the initiative.
Implementation of the Project/Activity

These two different programs have different monitoring methods.
The educational support program, We track down the learners performance, we do awards and apply for the matriculates at the universities of their choices.
we assist with transport money , accommodation, registration fees until they get financial support within the university. so the planning makes it more easier when we track down the records and we reward the top learners it inspires fellow learners to perform well.

The second program of teen mothers support, teens pregnancy prevention. we hold campaign and talks about sexual health education. we also use the teen mothers to share their sad journey discouraging the young ones not to fall in a trap as they did. We also select some beneficiaries to participate on skill development programs according to their passion. we assist them to generate income through these skills development projects.
we are in a process of launching the MOBILE APP that will assist on the monitoring, teaching sexual health issues and let the youth report sexual abuse anonymously since some pregnancies are internal by family members but they are scared to report.

Results/Outputs/Impacts
We have so many tangible evidence that we achieved through these programs. we have graduates through the educational support program. we have school that has dropped on teen pregnancy.
the long term results is raising the zero teen pregnancy generation and educated nation by 2030. through the implemented programs and some on pipeline , with no doubt we have impact and the results are truly promising and giving us hope to continue educating the nation through our young ones.
Enabling factors and constraints
Getting the proper support that we need it will surely have more impact on the program. support such as the new idea we have of using technology to the younger generation. using MOBILE APP through smart device and using it offline due to data expensive and affordability.
Sustainability and replicability
we have sustainability projects to implement for the benefit of our young future leaders. once includes the sewing projects to benefit the young girls, the charity shop to create jobs. and also the water purification project. this project is targeting the local game reserves as we are based in deep rural areas of Bushbuckridge and it is a remote area. The cost is roughly R800 000.00 including all projects and set up.
Conclusions

I have learned that many kids loose focus if no one close by to guide them through. we have young women who have children because they didn't know what is right and what is wrong. since we implemented these programs it is an eye opening and have already broke new grounds and platforms for many young generations and everyone around us can surely see that difference and impact we are making.
