Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency - RCREEE (2nd SE4All Forum Commitments)

    Description
    Description
The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) promotes the Arab region’s transition to sustainable energy by enabling the wide-scale adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices throughout its 16 member states. The Center pursues its mission by conducting research and analysis on Arab countries’ sustainable energy progress, providing technical assistance and capacity building to governments, and promoting the uptake of sustainable energy private investment. Through the Arab Future Energy Index (AFEX), RCREEE’s flagship analytical benchmarking report, the Center tracks Arab countries on their progress towards a broader uptake of sustainable energy practices. The Center actively applies SE4ALL’s inclusive solutions-oriented approach by teaming up with regional governments, international organizations, businesses and civil society to increase Arab states’ share of tomorrow’s energy. RCREEE is committed to the SE4ALL vision and will continue to support the aim to achieve universal access to sustainable energy across the world, starting with the Arab region.
