Description
The initiative is concerned with developing and raising the efficiency of federal roads, utilities and facilities and dams through the establishment of an integrated system for the management and control of federal roads, facilities and establishments.
A national survey program for all buildings was made. The system was implemented in the buildings of the ministry as an initial stage of implementing the system. An electronic simulation system was made for the straightness and velocity indicators. An experimental application to monitor dams after rain and floods through the use of drones. A pilot project (4 sites) to monitor the water and engineering situation in dams using surveillance cameras. Developing 120 groundwater monitoring points (wells) by adding digital devices that work 24 hours a day and send data instantly to the Ministry's office. Start developing applications that alerts valley runoff and dam fullness.
It is expected that the country’s rank in the road connectivity index (straightness and speed) will rise to the sixth rank in the world (a rise of 17 degrees), which will lead to an increase in the road axis to rank 2 (a rise of 4 degrees). Determine the needs and priorities for developing the existing federal road network. An intelligent electronic energy management system. Increase the life span of road assets. Integrated unified database. Centralizing monitoring and control of federal buildings and extending the life of the building. Preparing a database for dams and water installations to supply the water platform in the country. Increase the life span of dams. Determining the needs and priorities for the maintenance of dams through the creation of innovative models that serve the speedy preparation of the required reports.
Insufficient budgets to implement preventive maintenance plans for roads. Insufficient budgets to implement maintenance plans for dams and water installations (such as removing silt quantities in dams). Examination and treatment of critical dams (leachate dams). The lack of smart monitoring devices and cameras for the flow of water in the valleys. Speed limits on roads. Determine cities.
Reliance on modern technology and artificial intelligence techniques, knowledge transfer and training of young cadres. Researching new diagnostic and treatment techniques and systems, and increasing efficiency. Developing bid files for checking dams' integrity, developing specifications for maintenance work and raising efficiency. Completing the addition of surveillance cameras in dams and wells monitoring sensors.
No COVID-19 hasn’t impacted the implementation of this practice. On the contrary, during the pandemic and lockdown timing there was a better chance to perform efficient ways for maintenance plans for roads, dams, and federal buildings. So we turn this pandemic to a positive experience and chance to work on our plans, monitor the devices, and do maintenance.
