    Strengthening of human resources through strategic and innovative capacity building initiatives within and outside of the Pacific region in order to create a pool of experts, as well as well informed and engaged decision makers to improve capacities for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention, particularly the Pacific World Heritage Action Plan.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    Through reporting to the Pacific Regional World Heritage for all Pacific Stakeholders and Governments involved. UNESCO and USP Publications and papers. And feed back to the Pacific Heritage Hub Steering Committee stakeholders of Government, IGO, NGO and community representatives.

    Governed

    The Pacific Heritage Hub is hosted by the University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji and reports to a Steering Committee comprised of regional organisations Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) Secretariat of the Regional Environment Programe (SPREP), UNESCO, ICOMOS and IUCN, reporting to the Governments on the Steering Committee from Australia, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Palau, Samoa.Progress will be reported in Annual reports aligned to the Pacific Heritage Hub Strategic Plan and Pacific World Heritage Action Plan 2010-2015 and beyond implementation.
