Eco transport and air quality project
Description
AMS III BC - http://cdm.unfccc.int/methodologies/SSCmethodologies/clarifications/175… revised methodology allows for integration of new technology into sustainable transport projects, by improving the combustion efficiency of Diesel vehicles and machinery. Please refer to Ghana PDD for more information or email project@impactglobalemissionsolutions.com
Th UN is currently facilitating projects in Africa, along with co-operation of CCAC for wider knowledge transfer and wider capacity building. The technology has now been identified as an acceptable viable alternative for transport based emission reduction projects, especially in high sulfur regions where diesel particulate filters cannot work. The technology also reduces all species of PM by 80%, reduces NOX, SOX and Co2 while simultaneously improving Air quality
The project will provide knowledge and technology transfer to implement projects, that are scaleable and replicable across a number of countries, can be co-ordinated and facilitated with UN, UNEP,UNDP and Governments either under local policy based initiatives or CDM/NAMA based projects. Projects will be developed in conjunction with local partners under PPP or local agreements
