Description
Description

Dressarte is an online service that offers virtual tailoring and styling advice to create custom-made sustainable clothing. Dressarte is committed to combat overproduction and fashion waste by creating custom-made & made-to-measure garments from surplus designer brands fabrics - reducing waste that goes to landfills. After finalising the design, a team of skilled designers creates digital sketches and 3D models, incorporating AR and VR technologies, virtual measurements taking to bring the final garment to life. The service currently specialises in custom wedding gowns and capsule wardrobes.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

We collaborate with suppliers and partners to develop new technology projects to combat against overproduction and waste. Additionally, we spread the knowledge about sustainability, circular economy educating consumers on our blog and social media channels.

Coordination mechanisms

The organiztion is governed by Dressarte that coordinates sales, marketing, communication, supply chain and the social impact projects.

We internally design custom and made-to-measure clothes and outsource our production to European suppliers. We establish close and long-term relationships with fabric suppliers and local ateliers to promote sustainability, innovation and collaboration. Dressarte is a female owned and led organization.

Evaluation

We measure our impact according to KPIs set within two aspects, environment (% of surplus and headstock materials used, % of clothes resold on our website, etc) and society (inclusiveness and diversity, number of job opportunities created).
