Crespinhos in power

    Intro

    Our work consists in working the aesthetic visibility and representativeness of black children and adolescents, victims of racism in the school space, in order to empower them, leaving the situation of victim to protagonists of their stories. Our main actions are: nin order to rescue the children's self-esteem, as well as appreciation of their parents' speech, so as to contribute to the emotional health of their children.

    Objective of the practice

    to promote the empowerment of black children and adolescents, victims of racism or not through aesthetic and representative visibility, in all the social context in which the school space is inserted.

    Partners
    the direct beneficiaries of the actions of the Crespinhos no Poder project are children and adolescents, aged between 3 and 16 years, as well as their parents, who arrive at the project, by means of free demand, or by indication of those who already know and recommends our work.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    Initially, I did a photo session of my son and posted on social networks showing my indignation, several parents began to ask for help with their children victims of racism. I then also marked a photo essay through social networks, and so the project was born. Since then, the idea has been spreading, and only using social networks, we have been able to mobilize more children and parents for new rehearsals, adding 05 essays in the year 2018, we made from the photos produced an outstanding photographic exhibition, that already left the city from Campinas, to the city of Passos in the South of Minas. nAll the logistics of this work, such as used equipment, and part of the financial resource used was own resource, also having help from friends, family and merchants who helped to buy T-shirts, and other necessary inputs. Partnerships are being made to make feasible the beginning of the workshops, also partnership with fashion agencies and other companies that may offer space for the integration of adolescents in the labor market or vocational courses. We are also developing custom design products such as shirts, mugs, pants, dressing gowns, dresses, skirts and other pieces intended for commercialization in order to obtain financial resources that guarantee the sustainability of the project

    Results/Outputs/Impacts
    As results of the first six months of work, we can consider the interest in different cities for our work, demonstrating the seriousness of our work and the importance of the cause we raise and defend. The data obtained from our actions are: 05 solidarity photo essay 01 Afro Parade 04 editions of the traveling Photography Show, including outside the State of São Paulo 01 edition of Afro Solidarity Christmas can be treated as positive aspects of our project. nas negative or little impact aspects of our actions, we can mention the lack of financial resources for project sustainability, lack of planning, because it was born by chance, and we are only now working on a planning and seeking financial, technical support for improve our actions. Another aspect that can be considered as a negative result was the difficulty of finding the right people to set up an association, NGO or third sector entity.
    Enabling factors and constraints
    Despite the lack of financial resources, our actions have taken place and will happen thanks to the credibility created by the public we have won. To begin this work has given us an entrepreneurial spirit, to believe in our capacity to transform our cosiness, and why not the world, overthrowing old paradigms, using efforts to build a more egalitarian, more humane and accessible society, not only for blacks but for all minorities, respecting diversity in all its expression. Sensitize and arouse interest of public managers know me involve with actions of our project arriving even to request to take to their cities, has shown us that to make the change happen, independent of financial resources, favoring that deforms even if precarious, we can make the difference in our society.
    Sustainability and replicability
    The dissemination of our actions through social networks, are being intensified, a portal is under construction to better disseminate our work, generating cohesive content, also favoring public interaction with the coordination, children and parents participating in the project.Development of products and services for the purpose of obtaining financial resources to fund our actions are also under development, search for financing lines, technical support, psycho-pedagogical and other necessary for the good progress of our work, is also being made, and above of all, development of pedagogical material for educators to work thematic in the school space, based on law 10.639 of 2003, that deals with the afrobrasileria history from the elementary scho
    Conclusions

    Working the challenge of blacks, Indians and other minorities to occupy prominent positions in the field of work, education, culture and others is urgent, eminent, costs little and has a great impact on the lives of direct beneficiaries. These groups do not want anything different than what they are: Respect, understanding, gentleness, visibility and representativeness and that is why our action exists.
