    Description
    Education is a pillar to the successful implementation of the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The Association of Environmental Education for Future Generations (AEEFG) aim to use the teaching of life sciences, environment, and geology to raise students’ awareness and understanding of the SDGs.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    Students are made aware of different issues related to the environment, such as persistent organic pollutants (POPs), dioxin, lead in paint, ethylene dichloride (EDCs), mercury, biodiversity, climate change, etc. Also, students will become aware of existing environmental efforts, including learning about the different conventions (e.g., SC, Bâle, Rotterdam, Minamata, CC, biodiversity, etc.)

    Capacity

    Teachers are already using the technologies available (such as documentaries and films) outside the classroom.

    The project is running in both grade schools and universities.
