    Situe dans le dpartement de Foudioune, la commune de Toubacouta est mconnue de par ses ressources naturelles maritimes, forestires et terrestres. Cette zone inexploite pourrait garantir le dveloppement conomique de toute la rgion de Fatick. Lobjectif du programme Toubacouta2030 est de faire de ce territoire un centre urbain, inclusif, cologique, moderne et viabilis o les populations peuvent se contenter de leurs richesses naturelles pour vivre et dvelopper le tissu conomique, social, culturel et environnemental.

    La ralisation est table sur une priode de 3 ans allant du 2019 2022 au cours de laquelle seront construits : <br />

    Un centre commercial<br />
    Sept espaces verts<br />
    Deux foyers de jeunesse<br />
    Une antenne radio communale<br />
    Un terrain multisport<br />
    Une grande mosque<br />
    Une glise<br />
    Une maison culture<br />
    Un office de contrle des activits maritimes de la commune<br />

    Ce programme repose sur la bonne volont du pouvoir local faire de Toubacouta une socit rsiliente dveloppe. Lide a t appuye par la gouvernance de la rgion de Fatick et lensemble des communes et dpartements de ladite rgion. <br />
    Soumis et adopt au conseil rgional, le programme a t accept par la primature comme un projet de dveloppement urbain. Plusieurs ministres devront apporter leur expertise et soutien pour la ralisation de ce projet socio-environnemental, conomique et territorial. <br />
