    Description

    The AbroadHack Project is a 6-month online mentoring program for the youth community who seek to attend life-changing programs abroad during their high school years, such as bootcamps, summer programs, and boarding schools and intends to come back to their countries to promote innovative ideas and solutions. The youth community accepted to be a mentee in the program will develop self-knowledge and be guided throughout the application process for boarding schools, bootcamps, and summer programs while being mentored by knowledgeable mentors who have already studied or are studying abroad. Furthermore, most importantly, they will build up a strong applicant profile, easing their entry into the opportunities abroad world, along with a like-minded community of amazing people.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    The mentoring sessions operates in 6-month cycles, with mentors from different areas of international opportunities to small group of mentees each.
    The services offered are:
    Assistance in the application process for the chosen programs:
    Correction of Essays;
    Fortnightly workshops in English discussing various topics, disseminating opportunities, topics for application improvement;
    Help with proficiency tests and other exams.

    The program focuses on personalized mentoring and workshops on varied and specific subjects and will develop as follows:
    One-hour live one-on-one mentoring sessions per week
    Fortnightly workshops with guest participation
    Presentation Workshop: Presentation of the project + Knowledge of the network within mentoring;
    Pairing form;
    Individualized mentoring;

    Monthly check up with mentors and mentees are also pertinent to our most primary motto of always improving.

    Weekly check up with organizational team members to align our expectations and coordinate the tasks, along with calendars and schedules for the whole cycle, how it will work and what each one needs to do.
